So, let me first acknowledge this wonderful bud by saying I am only writing this after password retrieval. Come on you know I am not the first. I wrote an anecdotal fluff review about this plant under something like “Midwest Falls Winters”. I was excited to get my seeds. Sue me man!!! Plus I had a new setup. Anyway, this is the real review because I have harvested. When I say harvested I mean harvested. Let’s get to the details and how to be successful with this beautiful little lady. 2 400 HPS Lamps from start to finish. Got em for $139 each with ballast/hood/and MH too. 4 foot mylar tent. $100 6 inch inline fan hooked to outside window where temps at night were 45F-20F. ($30) FF Nutes trio pack - $35 MGro soil - $6 Soil Conditioner - $4 Nov 6th. – dropped 4 seeds (one I knocked over..read the other review) leaving me with 3 that I put into a plastic cup with Miracle Gro – Feeds over time soil. Put them about 5 inches under only ONE 1 400 HPS and let nature happen. Air intake and air flow inside. You know the common stuff is all happening. 24*7 obviously for germination. All sprouted of course. If you can’t germ don’t grow weed. Come on. People make such a science out of soil, heat, moisture. PUT EM IN THE SOILD AND KEEP YOUR PAPER TOWELS TO WIPE UP TRYCHOMES OFF YOUR TABLE  I prefer the MGro soil because I am constantly checking PH balances and PPM on my feed so a little bit of trace in the soil is fine for me and might help with early veg where I feel the need to only feed water. It makes early veg easier in my opinion. Nov6-20th - FED THEM NOTHING. Keep lights far away. Far away. They are babies. They do not need 600W of light raining down on them at 5 inches. Put your lights or I should say single light at this point 2 to 3 feet away and adjust with common sense once sprouted. I watered daily only small amounts as week 1-3 is a precious time for the plant. Don’t be stupid early. Patience my bros…it all happens week 4-8 with this lady and trying to “overveg” is the downfall of many. You wreck your plants..your wreck your soil trying to take a 1 inch plant and make it 8 feet tall. It is not how marijuana works. The seed has enough food for 3 weeks but this is why I choose the soil I do so I don’t feel pressed to feed early.Nov21st-27th - Introduced FF Big Bloom at 400PPM about twice a week. Watered in between. The cups dry out fast which I prefer. This feed is naturally a bit basic so make mental note of that as we will fix with our flowering feed and/or adjust PH levels. I feel this strain is a bit sensitive early but strong as an ox later. If you see signs of weakness in your plant don’t make big moves instead make small moves. Move lights further away. Possibly use a bit more water or less depending what you see but never feed. Give it a day or two. Remove any of the possible stresses and these ladies turn out all right. I saw some droops that concerned me. General not “lifting”. Trust me it don’t matter. These seeds are BEAST. Be patient is my best advice. If you know anything about growing you feel what I am saying. Let it be . Great song by the way.Nov28th-Dec7th- Here is where it gets crazy. It is like just overnight this plant becomes hardy and bushy. I planted to 1 gallon pots. They didn’t skip a beat. They just started growing amazingly fast with the thickest stocks I have seen. Continued with 400PPM Big Bloom and water. Notice… I HAVE GIVEN THEM NO NITROGENT OTHER THAN TRACE AMOUNTS. They are unbelievably green …LEAVE THEM ALONE. Listen to Nirvana and do not feed them N unless you really see a need for N!!Dec7th-Feb6th- I begin dropping the lights down even lower. I kept the grow area between 62-68F night time and 72-81F daylight. I introduced FF Tiger Bloom at this point at 600PPM for the first few feeds. Remembering this feed is acidic and Big Bloom is basic. I would often alternate feedings and throw some water in the mix. They started preflowering/flowering around week4 and I waited until I saw strength in the flowering that I jumped toTiger Bloom at 1200PPM. Big Bloom I left at 400-600PPM entire grow. I kept dropping lights until I was about 6 inches 800 Watts over these gorgeous girls.AND THEN….HOLY BUDS!!! This is the most chilled smoke of all time. I remember smoking NL’s in college and man I felt good in college. And man I feel good again. This is the only strain I am growing. I harvested 9zips in about 65 days of the most crystalized dense (yet strangely airy) buds of my life. The high is so chill. More body but enough head to make you like thinking without couch lock and paranoia. This plant has 0 paranoia effects. I laugh non stop and want to move around but just real slow and chill. This plant is truly amazing. Give it a shot. I did force flowering at about 6 -7 inches tall end of wk4. I subscribe that plants should rest so I do 12/12. Dude, it is just an amazing plant. It is beautiful. Buds just look like Christmas trees. I have buds larger than my foot. Like .75 oz colos of dense nasty NL. It is one hit and quit if you want but smooth enough to take you right back up anytime. The yield you get if done right in the time you invest is INSANE!! Nirvana—what can I say. You guys do it right. We all appreciate the work you do in Research development and giving us customers the easiest and most potent bud on planet Earth.Peace

So far, this strain has required a 12/12 photoperiod to produce buds for me. This is the first strain that I ever grew and it produces very nice frosty buds with a pretty significant odor. I currently have one at 35 days old from the seeds I bought over a year ago. It is an all auto flower grow now so I'll review this one when it's done. The smoke is very potent and causes me to couchlock bigtime. Very easy to grow. I used 3 gal pots and the plants stayed at about 34 inches tall. My first grow I had no clue as to what I was doing but the results kept me stocked for the whole winter. My second grow was harvested too early and the buds never reached their potential. My last grow yielded an even ounce and nice hard tight frosty buds.I only give this a three star rating as it does better on a phoperiod schedule.nn>>>NIRVANA COMMENT: This strain has been re-issued after auto problems. Definitely auto now.

Im a closet grower and am stuck using 200w cfl lights to keep the closet from overheating. This strain was perfect for guerilla growing. The plants all stayed short and i got a great yield for using CFL lights. All in all a 4/5 because one of my seeds that germinated didnt auto flower the flowering had to be induced by a 12/12 light schedule weeks after the rest had began budding .

First off Nirvana is the best. We all know it. I have never had to deal with the infamous Alice because they always do me right. I get seeds in the Midwest in about 7-10 days from place of order. Ridiculously cool. I have done several grows with their seeds and they are all hardy.Anyway, about the Northern Light Fem...I moved from a place where I had two separate rooms. Dropped around $300 on tent, 600W HPS, 6inch inline duct fan, FF nutes. I used to grow CFL. I was a moron. I intake the nice cool Midwest Air, a $30 humidifier, 600W HPS now 12 inches at 18 days, and these things are bushy and beasts and stink up my entire room...which is fine by me. I actually had another fan and ducting for exhaust but found 77F and 50% humidity is so easy for me to control with placement of my ducting and electronic ballast.Needless to say these 3 plants are going to be massive for an AF. I have pics. I am going to upload to the new (not sure how old it is) site. I only grow from Oct. to April and try to bring home about a pound. I am well on my way with these.Durable plant. Busy. Healthy. Stinky and growing like a weed....pun intended. Already received my Indica Auroa. Seeds always germ. I use just soil and light and heat. Why mess with nature? They always pop.But Alice...I did the biggest blunder of any grower. At cotyledons I knocked over 2 of my AF Northerns. Hook me up :) If not I am still a customer for life!! You guys kick so much ass.

I ordered 5 of these NL Auto's and received them in about 12 days excluding weekends to canada so that was great, once i received them i proceeded to germinate them in paper towel. I tried starting with 4 seeds and all 4 had sprouted within 36 hours and just 2 days after are already nice little plants with their first leaves. i put the seeds in a small box in wet paper towels and placed it on the corner of my laptop to stay warm worked great. Thanks Nirvana great seeds great service and thanks for the gift it happened to be just what i needed as i had recently lost what you sent lol 2 for 1 score thanks again Nirvana i will definetly be ordering again.
