when I put this plant in the ground the deer got after it. I had found that they were dug up and some were eaten and some were just laying there dying. I picked them up and just simply put them back in the ground. And I worked, they took aff and started growing again. Tw of them were attacke three times and I still got them back in the groud and they started to grow again. That tells me that anyone could grow them because they are so strong against animals ad I had no disease problems or mould. AMAZING

I had not very big expetations on my first Venus Flytrap grow. I got nicely soprised though. I got almost 60g of cured bud of ( even though I picked some buds while growing)premium, top notch quality. She was easy to grow, handled nutes well. I vegged for 4weeks and flipped light shedule.when she was 62 cm high and after flowering she was close to 140cm with top colas about 30 cm tall. The cured bud has a fantastic fudge like skunk taste with a really strong and social high. I recommend this lady to all!

Average, modest yield. The strain is described as commercial so i expeceted a big yielder. My pheno was a small yield, but major quality.

Hard to pin point. Its somewhat skunky, it was a pungent "real" skunk smell in veg. In flower in smelled more like the final products taste. A slight mild savory spice, combined with a lip smacking tangy skunk flavor. everyone loved this particular pheno! cured product smells amazing!

Venus Flytrap: (Top 44 x PPP)... I grew one seed out of a female 5 pack. It was nice and vigorous from the get go, and from an early age it had a very strong skunk smell. I would say this particular pheno looked a bit more sativa in growth, but was closer to a 50/50 hybrid in the end. I never really had any problems with the plants from this seed. Only wierd thing is that it turned out to be a much more quality-over-quanity kind of phenotype. The hash ratio was insane, more than any other strain growing at the time. To top it all off it flowered very quickly and didnt stretch much. it was done in about 8 weeks. It grew lots of medium small top buds, it didnt grow any huge colas. The quality was amazing tho, made up for the lack of expected yield. the high is somewhat more sativa, but will knock you out if you smoke too much of it. It has that classic skunk high from the top44 genes, and the extra boost in potency from the power plant genes. mine also turned purple a bit towards the end. very high quality stuff. should be classified as a "white" strain. if not "medical" too!

I know i got my seed comments are gay...but i got my seeds in 7 days,,about par for the course for nirvana and im in N America...i have grow ice/white widow and i know nirvans beans kick ass..ill post my report in 5 months as to my Venus beans i just got. But you can always count on Nirvana to get the beans to you and get em quick..oh Hey alice

This is a joy to share. This was my first indoor grow, as in the past I grow outside. I am really not sure why but I did not have high expectations of the Venus Flytrap as far a strain goes. I assumed it would be okay. The yield could of been better, but that most likely was on my end due to various circumstances. After the harvest though, well, to my delight what a wonderful surprise. More cerebral than I hoped for, which is my preference and enough of a subdued effect that it really helped suppress the pain. I am still in search for the best strain(s) for my medical condition with the hope of finding the top two with the intent of breeding. In closing I have to say, the Venus Flytrap at this point is a top contender to my delight! Once again, way to go Nirvana!

Got my seeds very prompt after ordering them & nice & discrete delivery to. Bought 5 VF along with 5 WW seeds, germinated very quickly doing it the old fasioned way and only 1 seed didnt germinate, i put 3 of each on my nft tank and the rest in pots, had a bit of a nutrient issue after a couple of weeks, managed to get that under control & now they are into the start of their 4th week of 12/12 & they are thriving, they all kept as females, the pot plants are very short compared to my 6 on the nft, i have multiple heads & they are budding nicely, there is a nice build up of crystals on them, i'm using a Fero 450w V2 & for my 1st grow its going very well, i could'nt even keep a houseplant on the windowsill alive, lol, so fingers crossed & i'll keep you posted on the yield. Thanks Nirvana, you've got a customer for life. :-)

This year i grew many seeds from Nirnava that i usually grow but i also added the Venus Flytrap for the first time. I harvester about 10 days ago and now i smoke the first Venus joint!Its incredible! Its tasty, stoney and really pleasant to smoke! I wish i could write more but at the moment my head is completely numb! :P I just love it.

After unsucesfully attempting a grow of Jock Horror I gave Nirvana another shot after reading all the rave reviews and ordered 3 feminized strains : Vvft, nypd, raspberry cought and a batch of regular ppp ( 155.00 US). The vft I sprouted on paper towel and meticulously planted 3 on rockwool and two on jiffy pet tablets , none of the seeds reached seedling stage. Out of 3 nypd I sprouted only one reached seedling stage and died after being dormant for 2 weeks. I had 5 ppp in rockwool for 3 weeks and only one have break through so far, I have yet to atempt to sprout the RC yet and I'm skeptical about what kind of results I am about to obtain. I've had succesful growths in soil and DWC with other strains and even old bagseeds .I think Nirvana's claims are way overrated on the vigor and strengh of their strains and the quality of their seeds. You all have been forthwarned, wonder how many of these reviews are for real. >>>NIRVANA COMMENT: They're all for real dude. We honestly don't have the time to fabricate reviews, even if we wanted to.

Grew these indoors with great ease as these plants can almost take all the ferts you can throw at it. Easy to manicure which is a big plus. 5 out of 5 sprouted with 2 yielding average colas, 2 more above average and 1 plant sprouting a softball bat size cola - truly amazing! Only downside is that I have a high THC tolerance which makes this good for my first (maybe a 2nd) treatment of the day, but then have to move on to something stronger. I want to see what these girls can do outside!

I just put the sprouted little seeds in the Hydro a few weeks back. I am shocked in the most wonderful way possible. For plants that are not very tall at all yet, maybe 10 inches in height, the thickness is mind boggling. The little trunk is by far not little. I have never seen a plant this thick, layer to layer of leaves are so tight. And the smell, wow again... This is going to be one heck of a yield I believe. Now this is exciting! More after harvest... once again, thank you Nirvana!
