I germinated all 5 seeds using the paper towel method and a heated seedling mat. 5 for 5 with no issues. I vegged for 5 weeks untill all showed sex (100% females) I kept the 4 best plants (gave 1 away) as i only have room for 4 Flowered useing a 400w HPS inside a 4x4x7 grow tent. I use the complete line of Fox Farms Nute products as well as FF soil mixes. Water with RO water ph to 7, Flowered for 10 weeks, plants produced rock hard buds. I harvested just over 460 grams from 4 plants.....by far my best harvest to date for 4 plants.
Flavour
Air dryed in controlled area and curred for 4 weeks in glass jars. Smoke is smooth and thick with a hint of pine/woody taste. High is a mix of heady and body......but leans just a bit more on body side. The bag apeal of these buds are so nice, covered in red hairs and loaded with trichomes. These are the denses buds I have grown.....very nice. Overall High I give a solid 9 out of 10 very long lasting buzz.

Overall Blackjack was a pleasure to grow, all plants grew the same and produced about the same amount of bud. I had no issue keeping these green untill the end and I would grow this again for sure. Thanks Nirvana as this is a great strain to work with.

600w hps grow-4 weeks into flower, they are huge. I cropped 1 of the 2 that I am growing and she has 6 main's the other has 1 giant bud site. I believe they will easly produce 3 or 4 oz dry.

These girls are very dense, big plants with huge dark green Indica leaves. T5 veg. for 60 days, they were about 1.5 to 2 feet tall and bushy when they went into bud room.

I purchased 10 of these fem. BlackJack seeds and I can't wait to grow them, they look amazing. I will be starting them soon, I am currently harvesting and still flowering some clones I took of the plants], some of Nirvana's Aurora Indica and all I can say is WOW, dense dripping with resin buds that have a smell that about knocks you down and I'm not worried with these BlackJack seeds being all feminized because all 10 Aurora Indica were and all the Lowryder seeds I bought were and they always have 100% germination too so I know if I order 10 fem. seeds from Nirvana I will be harvesting 10 killer female plants. Thanks for the 10 Freebies with the 10 fem. Aurora Indica seed I bought I got those veging right now I just wish it said what strain it was and even all 10 Freebies were just as vigorious as the seeds you by from Nirvana. All around best seed company and I will update with the yeild and potency of the BlackJack but from Nirvana's reputation I have a feeling it will be an amazing strait too, like all have been

Well I'd heard a lot of positive things about blackjack, and with the reviews on this site, I was so psyched to order myself a pack of 5. As always the seeds arrived in good time and I couldn't wait to start growing them. I placed all the seeds in some small pots with a heat mat to keep them warm, after almost 2 weeks only 1 of the seeds had visibly germinated. In the end this was the only seed to germinate. I was still stoked to have one blackjack girl but within no time she got sick and started to dry up no matter how often I watered her. She died 2 days ago :( I didn't have a good experience growing these seeds and didn't really get past the first stage. I bought some ice seeds at the same time so I'm concentrating on them at the moment. I don't know what happened with my blackjack seeds but it's impossible to win them all. Im going to buy more seeds in a few weeks - hopefully I have more luck with the blackjack next time!

Grew it in the g/house. Gobsmacked at the quantity and quality. Meant to weigh it but the quality was so good I never got round to it! Certainly several ounces.

My friend suffers from depression and BJ works better than his anti-depressants and more enjoyable!. Only one proviso. Just when the bud was ripe and ready for harvesting I noticed the beginnings of mould. Don't know if it was me or the plant and sudden fog which I think didn't help. I also had Wonder Woman and Master Kush growing in the same environment and they were fine.

Yield depends on the phenotype. I grew out 4 plants. 3 were very hardy and had thick to hard buds while one plant was short and stocky, had much more Trichromes but yielded much less. With a 400w HPS I managed 1.2 zips per 18in tall tree at harvest.

Flavor is exactly as expected: Delicious. You just want to keep toking this bud because it's so delicious. It definitely needs at least a 3 week cure to get that good taste, but when it cures proper, it's definitely a good smoke

This is definitely a creeper. You can finish off 3 bowls and not be stoned, and as you hit the 4th you realize you may have ruined your daily plans. I have a very high tolerance and this bud surprisingly buries me to sleep even through anxiety attacks with 4 .3gram bowls. Anyone I've smoked with tapped out after the second bowl. WATCH FOR MOLD ON THIS ONE!!! My humidity was perfect and I even trim my plants before drying and the top cola still got a little mold in the middle. I've never had mold issues until this strain, So keep your buds over some slow moving air at least. As with all Nirvana strains, you must baby it until it is about 5 inches tall, and then it will explode with growth. Good For: Anxiety, Sleep, Mild pain, evening or lazy day smoke.

let this plant go the distance 12+ weeks, and the flavour and yield will be massive! Plants taken at around 10 weeks were still very nice but lacked spiceyness. All 5 seeds were very uniform in growth pattern, with little difference between the 5. The plant I kept as a mother turned a very nice blue/pink colour in the final weeks of flowering and this in my opinion was the best tasting plant! Although that was me being very picky, and I would of gladly used any of the others to mother from. The high was very long lasting and certainly a firm favorite amongst my friends(and I've got some funky friends lol). If you like nice weed order this!!!! Nuff said peeeeeaaaaaacccccccceeeeeeee

out of the 4 plants i had, each wasa different pheno, 2 of the 4 i thought were absolutley great, then other two turn out to be very weak potency producers compared to the others, and as many growers experince purple hues on this strain i how ever did not, even with cooler temps. any how on the phenos i liked i say 1-10 give em a 8.5 the other too a 5, and will be process concentrates

I would and may order this strain again. Out of 5 I gave out 3 and grew 2 and kept 1 for cloning. Havent had a mother, just keep cloning the clones. No degradation after 3 cycles.

First may I say this plant was EXTREMELY easy to grow. FoxFarm Ocean soil and vegged for 6 weeks. The two girls I grew never showed a bit of trouble. They both produced an AMAZING amount of buds. The but to leaf ratio is about the best I've ever seen. Each plant produced over 2 Oz. of dried buds. ( that's over 1/4 pound for 2 plants) and they weren't too tall. Stocky, full plants with an amazing amount of buds! The smoke and potency are OK, not killer, but not bad either. The smell/flavor is very unique. Has a slight spicy (somehow familiar, but I can't place it) smell. I switched to 12/12 after six weeks of veg. At the 10th week of 12/12, with no signs of amber trichomes, I cut the light down to 10/14 for a week and then 8/16. Still no signs of amber trics (hairs were all red) I harvested at week 13. Perhaps this strain don't turn amber? Most of the big fan leaved had died off and it "looked" ready, but trichomes were still clear/milky. The potency is about 6-7 and it seems like a body as well as a head high. With such a great yield, this would be a great commercial plant. Buds are very large, tight and has nice bag appeal. Highly recommended strain for high yield.
