Nirvana Papaya is a fast growing, disease resistant, and usually early-maturing marijuana strain. This heavy, greasy Cannabis Indica stays short and dense, making it very suitable for Sea of Green gardens. Papaya has an exotic tropical aroma that's also reminiscent of whiskey pipe tobacco. The buzz from Papaya is relaxing, lethargic, and almost narcotic.

Where's the fruit? Posted by Mr. Thumbs on 2011-10-30 16:30:27

very good 2-3 oz. per plant. easy for "rookies" to grow. Sensitive to heat grows better with temps in the 70's lights on and 50-60 lights off.
Flavour
I still haven't figured out why it's Papaya, but the flavor is O.K. I crossed it with a Bubble mother and a Blueberry mother and got two F1's that my customers still crave 3 yrs. later.
Comment
Been growing this variety for 3 yrs. I flower plants between 10-12 inches tall and they finish around 36" consistently. The buds are frosty with a slightly fruity diesel fuel smell. My customers like flavor so pure Papaya satisfies their cravings but I think they deal with the flavor because the high is outstanding. This is a easy plant to grow and clone, but I found it an especially good breeder. The genetics are stable enough so that if you breed it to a stable strain you'll get predictable results. Well worth the money!!

I was a little excited, then very leary. After I place one order, I placed another, then another. 3orders in one week. Then it struck me, if I don't get the one then the other two might not make it 1/3 across the globe, and oh shit its holiday season! All orders came through, days apart in the same week. 3 of these seeds were planted and all three germinated very fast, 3.5 days! They are reg, keeping my eye out for males and good phenos!

Purschased quite a few strains from multiple sources a little over 10 years ago. grew many to completion , including 4 cannibis cup 1st place winners. Out of the many types i tried ,the papaya was by far the most stable strain as far as similarity, and had the best flavor, even though cycle cut short from powdery mildew contracted from a different srain, which is no issue now due to my trusty sulfer vaporizer. At just 6 weeks( like I said cut short) it was stoney with a great flavor. I'm trying again with fullmoon first, then the papaya and blackjack, as I need some new flavors other than my old faithfull. I will review the grows. Been doin this for 30 years, and have gained the most experience in the last ten, so you will get an honest experts review.

My first indicas. I have to say that I have never seen any plant grow so fast. I put 2 to germinate for 48 hours and the little root was about 7cm and the cap was already about to fall when I checked. The plant grows 5cm a day, it's impressive. Will comment back for the flowering stage.

Great strain!! A+++ Posted by Nobody on 2012-07-25 19:17:22

2-4 oz per plant. Pheno specific
Flavour
I had three pheno's out of my pack. Heavy indica with sqwat, chunky buds, bright orange hairs at harvest. Smell was a mellow sweetness, earthy, and flowery. Flavor was very mellow and wildflowery, not really fruity but decent. It was the densest out of the three with the least branching. It was pruned to four colas and produced just over 2oz at 24". Finished with licks of purple throughout. The taller indica pheno- Taller than the sister indica had a skunky funk with a grape jolly rancher aroma. This one I wish I would have taken a cutting of for sure. Lime green nugs with bright orange hairs and great jar appeal. The taste is whats really impressive! After a proper dry/cure, a grapey orgy of candy flavors bloom upon your palate. She grew in a typical skunk christmas tree shape with the bottom 1/3 trimmed (wish I would have taken cuttings) She finished at about 32" and blessed me with 2.7oz Finally my favorite out of all... The sativa dom. She was cleary gunning from the go so much so that I thought her to be a male. She was pruned twice during veg and topped on the 12/12 flip. She stretched to twice her size when finished, and produced long frosty skunky/spicey colas. The resin on this particular pheno is spectacular! After a long cure, her spear shaped nugs took on this sweet juicy fruit hazey spice. Its good in whatever device you choose so it lends itself to be a great all day smoke. Finishing at about 48" she game me a 4.1oz. My keeper for sure.

10/10 germed within 48 hours of planting in straight coco coir. Veg'ed for 6 weeks along with 5 December freebies. During 24/0, I noticed a wide spectrum of different phenos in my papaya. Not exactly a bad thing if your looking for something truely specific to your medical needs. Out of the 10, only 3 were female but I think it had a lot to do with my improper flushing of an unfamiliar source of coir which set me back a few weeks in veg. She did show a bit of resistance showing preflowers, but she fills out quickly and frosts up within the 3rd week. The high is heavy but managable with the indica phenos, great for mundane chores, movies, or gettin' down. But the sativa pheno is where this strain shines. She yeilded almost double than the indica leaning phenos, and her high is an inspiring creative joyride all the while keeping yor head buzzing and your eyes very red. Great for artists, musicians, any social activity, and just making the shitty people of this world a little more bareable. Full botanicare CNS17 line with supplements used througout. She does like lower temps and I recommend letting her go until she is done. My indicas went to 10 weeks, and the sativa I let go for 12. The last few weeks is when the weight is put on, and the purples come out. Also, let her cure! After being in the cure jars for 6-8 weeks, they mellowed way out and were able to be fully enjoyed. Will be keeping this one around for sure! December freebies- Spicy sativas that begged to be outside. Mixed results from huge airy buds with loads of hairs, to foxtailed frosty softball sized buds with huge calyxes. Thanks again Nirvana.. Hats off
