Pros:
Good, solid, dependable yields over 4 years.
Cons:
Everybody loves the way it hits yo nose, gives a nice ‘right away’ kind of lift. I think it can have a bit of a butterscotch flavor on the first toke.
Summary and suggest:
I have had this in rotation, either from seed or clones, for a few years now. I also grew Nirvana’s Skunk No1 (sad to see it gone- what flavor!) and Skunk Special as well. This smoke is an excellent ‘daily driver’ and everybody who gets my sticky bud loves it for that reason. Great for getting stuff done, too. It starts easily, grows well, is super easy to manage, and clones beautifully. I come back to get more seeds from time to time and the Super Skunk seems to be consistent- a huge plus. Right now, I am raising two plats in Deep Water Culture, from seed, which is a new wrinkle for me. The Super Skunk clone from the last DWC crop delivered 5.5 ounces from one plant, in a closet grow situation, in DWC. Plenty enough for me and a few close friends... Super Skunk is a great strain. I think most of the negative reviews are from folks who need some grow skill development. Totally understandable. It will remain in my secret closet into the foreseeable future. Thank you, Nirvana! Yield was very low. The buds just didn't spread out.

All 5 germed and all 5 female. I lost one due to grower error. I could not clone this strain. I only got one clone out of maybe 25 cuttings. The yield was very low and very disappointing. They are slow starters for sure and the distance between inter nodes was tight. I think a longer Veg time may have helped my yield. Grown under 400 Watt HPS using drip irrigation.

Yield was decent. I got about 1.5 oz per plant under 400w mh/hps w/ 4 weeks veg.
Cons:
The flavor was very sweet, but it smelled very skunky, it definitely lived up to its name.
Summary and suggest:
This plant seems to be a little sensitive to nutrients. I was keeping the nutrients about 300-400 ppm lower than the NYPD i had next to it. This may have been the pheno possibly, I'm not sure. Either way, after the nutrient adjustment it powered through and ended up fantastic.

less than 1 lb between 2 plants, they were doing great then just went down hill fast i read these wont handle much nitrogen, i think this was the case.

I am not sure why there are so many people out there that have had trouble, or the negative reviews. I am quite pleased with this strain and is among one of my favorites. I love the rock hard nugs that these plants produce. They clone very easily and grow fairly fast. Thanks NIRVANA!

I have bought 7 different strains from Nirvana, and for the most part they have been great. My experience so far with Super Skunk has been extremely frustrating though. I always germinate three different strains at a time, and twice now with a total of 4 other strains I have had terrible luck with Skunk. Currently, I have a Skunk in flower with a Blue Mystic and Bubblelicious. The Super Skunk has been a slow grower from the beginning, looking very unhealthy compared to the others. It is producing a paltry amount of product in bloom. The other two are doing fantastic. I also have a Skunk in veg with AK 48 and Aurora Indica. The AK and AI are doing super great, and SS is tiny. They are almost two months old. The AK and AI are 18' tall with almost 1/2" stalk. The SS is 5", honestly, and stalk is the size of pencil lead. I sent e-mail a month ago to help desk and AJ was helpful. He asked for pictures, which I sent, and they elected to give me 1000 points credit. A nice gesture but I wasn't looking for a token pat on the back, I wanted to alert them of problem. My space in grow areas and time is too valuable to waste on this strain. After seven weeks, I'm killing the current one in veg, tossing away the last three seeds, and chocking it up to occasional bad seeds. I'm out about $25 bucks even with the 1000 free points and a lot of eventual yield wasted.

This is the very first time i ordered with NIRVANA, after one month extremely scared due to the long time waiting and thinking that it got caught by the Brazilian Fed's, i finally received the seeds, in my friends house. The seeds was sent in very careful way, very cool way to do it and ...12 hours later all of them germinated and it was so fast that it is already in the vase... you guys rock hard Nirvana, for sure i'll never buy in another site again, very satisfied! Greetings from Brazil!!! :)
