Nirvana is excited to bring you the newest innovation, the Propagator Pro. This nifty little propagator ships completely flat, but then unfolds into a sturdy yet sophisticated container for safe germination.
The Propagator Pro comes complete with:
- in-built LED lighting incl. batteries
- bag of perlite
- thermometer strip
The Propagator Pro is fully equipped with a thermometer, a bag of perlite, and an in-built set of LED lights (batteries included) to coax those tiny seedlings out and up towards the sky! This propagator is a perfect match for our Germination Kit. Simply cover the bottom of the Propagator with the perlite (included), mix water with the Bacto from the Germination Kit, pour about 25 ml over the perlite, and it will retain and dispense moisture while your seeds sprout. The roots will be able to suck up the Bacto-enriched water through the holes in the bottom of the Kit. You can use the rest of the Bacto mix to sprinkle on the actual spongepots, but make sure you never thoroughly wet them, just moisten slightly!
The Propagator Pro is ideally suited towards larger growing operations, where germination conditions need to be perfectly regulated. But this propagator is equally useful for beginning growers. Don’t stress about risking your precious cannabis seeds – just trust Propagator Pro to provide the perfect environment for seed germination.
Generally, seeds will take between 1-6 days to germinate. Remove the seedlings from the Propagator Pro as soon as the seedleaves have fully emerged. This prevents root entanglement at the bottom. You can also use the Propagator as a protective nursery for starting clones and vulnerable seedlings. Make sure you do not leave in the germinated seeds for too long after they’ve sprouted to prevent the roots getting tangled up!
The Propagator Pro measures approx. 5 x 4 x 5 inches (l x w x h; that’s 13 x 10 x 13 centimetres) and will keep your germinating seeds, emerging taproots or growing seedlings safe and healthy. It is shipped in a non-descript flat box with an instruction sheet included.

- I got to try one of these when they first came out... popped in some WW seeds and BAM! Healthy sprouts in a day. Kudos for the great instructions, putting it together was a breeze, couldn't be easier. Only minor quibble is the version I got sent did not have perlite and I see they added it to the setup now. Would of made it even sweeter but good that you added the perlite now. 9/10 from me!

- Purchased Blue Mystic and White Rhino feminized seeds along with germination kit and propagator. Put 3 of each in the germination kit inside the propagator and after two weeks not a single one had sprouted. I sucked it up spent a couple extra bucks at my local hydro shop and got a real light and pH balanced pots. I put the last 4 seeds into this environment and had my first true set of leaves forming on day two. Not trying to rag on Nirvana a whole lot, they went way above and beyond on the customer service side of things. I have no idea what the actual root problem was, it could be something as simple as the light on the propagator not being sufficient not sure. Was using 6.5 pH water with around 200 ppm to germinate under a pro-grow 400 LED in a nice tent. Obviously the lighting and setup I am using now is about 20x the cost of this so keep that in mind as well. It is only $20.00 USD so keep in mind you get what you pay for. I would suggest if you do use this to pull the lid off and put it under a better light. Even a small 24w Sunblaze would work well.

- Well, I ordered the Propagator Pro alongside 10 feminized seeds. I had grabbed 5 Aurora Indicas in November, then decided I didn't want to try and grow them without everything Nirvana had to offer for germination. So in January, I ordered 5 Blue Mystic Feminized and into the Propagator they went. The whole thing seemed a bit too easy to assemble and drop in the seeds, but I figured I'd do everything they was it was said to. So I was hoping for at least...AT LEAST 3 of each to pop. Well, I didn't get 3...I got all freaking 10! Within 20 days of being popped in the sponge pots. I will post reviews of the two strains after the grow. On a side not, I received 10 freebies with the Christmas order. I popped 4 seeds in peat pellets and dropped them in the Propagator beside the germination tray. None of them have popped...Could be bad seeds, or that I'm using peat instead of the germination dream kit. I got 6 of them left, going to order some Bubblelicious next month, and will fill the other half of the tray with 5 mystery seeds. THANKS NIRVANA!!!

- Simple propagator. The temperature strip is convenient. Fits six 1.5" rockwool cubes. The LEDs are not at all powerful however. Don't expect to be able to keep seedlings in this for over a day after sprouting due to the fast stretching. I started 3 seeds at the same time. Six hour soak in distilled water until they all sunk, then dropped into rockwool cubes in the propagator with about 1/4" water in the bottom. I kept the LEDs off until the first sprout popped up at 3 days. The other two seeds took an additional 2 days to sprout, and in that time, the first seedling had stretched nearly 3", and I had to remove the top and get it under a CFL to stop the stretching. Easy to use, 100% germ so far, but the lights are very underpowered and dare I say not helpful at all. Still, at $20, I am happy with the purchase!

- If you bought some seeds you should invest in this, its compact doesn´t take much space and you dont need a plug near by.
