just did my first harvest of blackjack. had some light issues early into flowering which affected development. HOWEVER! I harvested about 7 oz from 2 plants! Not bad for 3 weeks under fluro until new ballast arrived!
The aroma is very unique and my wife said that it reminded her of cat piss. Aside from that the buzz is great and will knock you out! Great sleep aid!! (Posted on 8/28/10)

This was my first grow. Stealth delivery great. Seeds cracked easily, plant was hardy, medium height confirmed. Ok in a tent with 400w, yeild about 4.5oz. in 10 wks. flowering. Tasty but a little harsh due to short period on H2O only of one week. Will try 2 next time. (Posted on 8/23/10)

This is by far my favorite strain to smoke. Grows really strong and thick, and covered in trichomes! Looks like a kush strain wen growing and wen done in a greenhouse looks like a praying lotus. Truley unique the way it grows and will turn a deep reddish purple. the smell is unique as well which reminds of earthy sweet oats lol. I received 5 feminized blackjack seeds and delivery was fast and on the low key. Sad to say tho that only one sprouted up and was my mother.... that was my fault. After growing her for about 4 weeks i began to take clones. Very easy to clone and i came out 100% success with no dead ones. The mother on the other hand had started to show signs off a disease. The leaves started dieing and the stems started getting black spots allover.
So i throw her in to flowering and she is bout done budding. Looking amazing, top notch fruit, even know it still has black spots all over the lower branch stems. The clones show now signs of the disease but the mother didn't ether till 4 weeks old and the clones are only 3 weeks old. Cant wait to smoke some Ganja.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Posted on 8/13/10)

I was able to germ 4 of the 5 and 3 died (I'm pretty sure I gave them to much love) but the one that is growing is looking amazing and vegging fast! Ypu'll always be dealt "21" with this amazing hybrid. As tasty as it get's for a hybrid's hybrid. This plant is not a big producer nor is it a strain that will knock you down for the evening, this herb gives you the best of most worlds. One of my favorite strains from NIRVANA. Plant is a medium height strain, but boy we have some killer buds here !! Soild buds and lots of resin. Smell is mild, sweet aroma. I am one month into flowering right now and my baby black jacks look great. I only have 3 of them going due to my negligence and allowing 2 to somehow disappear :( All three look very healthy and are a good indoor plant because they are short and squatty with very dense buds (the description does not lie when it says hard dense buds). Also not to mention they are absolutely covered in crystals :) They are growing in CAP ebb and gro buckets and are along side 6 Nirvana wonder woman under a 1000 watt HPS. I realize that getting your seeds fast is important and Alice should be praised for the good job she does, she is an outstanding person. I do wish though, that more people would write in about the finished product. I'd like to know how long it takes

1st grow this strain. been flowering for 6 weeks. had light issue early on (ballast out for 3 weeks!) used fluro for that time... buds look good but they suffered by not having the proper lumens and color spec. i am growing using scrog method and have been pruning bud sites off of stems below screen. if the buzz from these premature buds are any incication of the finiish product then WOW! will folow up as things progress! Nirvana really needs to change this plant's height from Medium to Short... I grew Snow White and Black Jack side-by-side, and BJ blew the doors off of SW. It's as tight and compact as NL, but twice as plentiful and twice as potent. It's a bit harder to sprout and clone than the other short strains, but well worth the effort.

Give it lots of love, and it will do you good/proud... take clones early, because they're likely to show earlier than you'd imagine.

I gotta say!
1st of all = Shipping has ALWAYS been great with "NIRVANA", never EVER had any problems, and arrived here 2 the US in about a week.
2nd = Quality of the seeds we're very nice
3rd = They all sprouted
4th= During vegetation they are beautifull, a very VERY nice strain.
5th= Flowering, is the most AMAZING of all plants I have seen, i gotta say 100% covered in THC, this strain is UNBELIEVABLE.

I'm not sure which one of mine is a jock horror or a black jack, but one of these strains the smell is AMAZING, it smells like you just split a fruit in half, u can smell the sweet'ness and the looks of it like i said both just covered in THC, like if i plan flew by and showered them with SNOW, unbelievable. VERY VERY NICE.

I gotta give BLACK JACK & JOCK HORROR a "10" in looks and quality and also smell...

I received an order a few months back of JH, WR, and NL and had big problems with males and the NLs wouldn't germ. I wrote to Nirvana and they replaced my entire order for free. Just curious if you guys changed the JH, my seeds from a year ago seemed to be a totally different strain with much more puple, however I'm still pleased with the results especially they service from Alice.

Started with 3 plants, all was germinated within 24 hours. Vegged for 4 weeks, placed them under 430 watt light. Used Connoisseur Part A & B, liquid karma, Big Bud, and a few secret goodies. The plants went totally nuts growing! I ended up killing off (sacrificed) 2 of them to ensure room. If I had known just how great they was going to be, I would have purchased a completely separate lighting system. The one I kept grew to over 7 feet in height, no joke. It was not supposed to grow that tall. I grow with a bubblier ( 10 gallon plastic container, two air stones running full blast, change out nutes every 7 days and kept pH at 5.5 during veg and raised it to 6.1 during flowering) Flushed out for 72 hours in plain RO water.
Dried 8 days slowly, cured for a week. Smoke is smooth and great buzz! (Posted on 12/20/09)

what can i say this is a great strain very easy to grow, u can put these through hell and they will grow strong. roots are some of the strongest ive ever seen. cloning they take root no problem in about 8 to 16 hrs. i will grow these for years to come (Posted on 10/8/09)
