| Description | Buy 100% feminized: buy Swiss Cheese marijuana seeds from Nirvana online!Nirvana's Swiss Cheese is a hybrid of our discontinued marijuana strain Swiss Miss and a curious Skunk #1 phenotype that was discovered in the UK and smuggled to Amsterdam in 2007. A mix of a very early Swiss Skunk and a robust cannabis strain from Nepal, Swiss Miss contributes an “old school” flavour that makes Swiss Cheese cannabis unique. These marijuana seeds are mould resistant and beginner friendly.

just wondering Review by mole
i was wanting to buy some of these but could you please tell me how long the veg period usually is?
NIRVANA COMMENT: Not what the review function is for, but just this once... Veg period is grower-determined: basically however long you want to veg for. See Knowledge base for more info. (Posted on 8/16/10) -

IMHO Decent Beginner Grow Review by EntooGrowin
As stated below by sativa rocks and others Swiss Cheese is pest resistant and heat tolerant.
It is sensitive to nutrient burn so go easy on the nutes. I found that FFOF and a EWC soil topper with light nutrient feedings once a week will do the trick through veg.
Overall a nice low fuss strain. Should make any first timer happy. Mine did great in a little tent with T5's and CFL's. (Posted on 7/17/10) -
Potent Stuff Review by Freddie
I tried two Swiss Cheese plants. When they hit flowering, you could actually get a scent of cheese. This gives a strong buzz. I smoke some to get to sleep. It comes on slowly and then it drops the hammer. I sleep like a baby all night. This can be used for medical purposes. I would grow it again. It produced about 1 3/4 ounce dry per plant, but it is worth your time. Give it a try.
Go Nirvana!!! (Posted on 7/15/10) -
love it!!!!! Review by sulbones
i got this strain about 8 months ago and planted about 3 weeks apart.
5 for 5 and 2 babies. good yeild. very forgiven. and is very sticky, and resinous.
each branch is like a cola. good for smoking in the morning. makes me forget about my pain. thanks nirvana, once again.
i love my swiss cheese w/ a cup of coffee listening to bob marley. good way to start the day! (Posted on 7/8/10) -
Great Beginner Strain Review by Bizzerk
As the strain details state this is a good beginner grower strain. Almost done
with my first grow with this "SC" strain and trust me it's a thriving survivor. I ran into alot of 1st time grower problems like ph/root rot/algae/bugs and the plants bounced back and thrived. I planted 3 of 5 seeds and all 3 sprouted. Being fem seeds they were all female and no hermies. I haven't been able to try te final smoke but have read plenty of smoke reviews with all of them praising this strain. Highly recommended (Posted on 6/28/10) -

I'll tell you when ive finished them! Review by Scrogger
I am about to germinate these 'SwissCheese' for the outdoor season, can anyone from nivana please, please, please send me any info on these SwissCheese, i am really looking forward to popping them, also can you tell me if they do any good Indoor as i notice they are an outdoor strain.
I will write a proper report for nivana in return for information like, how much do they stretch when flicked over to 12/12, Ph & EC/PPM preferences & anything else you guys at nivana can think of that may help my projects with SC. Many Thanks in advance for your time. Oh and by the way your ICE(2001) was some of the strongest smoke ive ever encountered, nice work on that one you guys, also the Papaya is out of this world! Nivana are probably the Best Seed bank with the most choice of the highest quality seeds in the Whole Wide World & thats a Fact people!
Thanks for your time, Best Regards.
Scrogger
NIRVANA COMMENT: Sorry, this is a bit late as I just came back from my hols. Sounds like you know what you're doing anyway mate, not sure what we could add. Fertilisers are such a matter of personal preference... there is a Knowledge Base article on nutes coming up though as soon as I can find the time. Just a quick tip: it's easy to overfertilise and that holds true for SC especially, so don't overdo it! SC can definitely be grown indoors (keep in mind it needs some space though) and shouldn't stretch too much (you can suspend the lights quite closely as it can take the heat). HTH! Not a single seed sprouted for this strain for me.. Review by Lyle
I had 10/10 results from the Master Kush pack, but for some reason 0/10 sprouted from here.. I got this from Gypsy Nirvana's Seed Boutique and shipping was great. I also germinated CH9 Jack 7/7 and 9/10Freebies of Mazar. Something was way wrong with these seeds and I gues I lost out...
I sprout them all the same and keep seedlings under high humidity with air exchange. It is a complete medical grow with years of experience..
NIRVANA COMMENT: Sorry, but we are NOT the same shop as Gypsy's Seed boutique. Again, WE ARE NOT HIM. Gypsy's a reseller, we're the breeders of Nirvana Seeds. (Posted on 4/30/10) -

NOt recomended for beginers Review by sativa rocks
Not recomended for beginers! althougth this is the first strain of weed iv ever grown.
1. 100% germination in 1-2days prob the easiest seed iv germinated in my life.
2. 100% sprout make sure you dont plant to deep or it will take forever to sprout maybe 2 weeks.
3. DO NOT COMPACT THE SOIL! that was the first mistake i made and in 4 weeks my plants were still only 2cm tall untill i planted them in good quality potting mix than they took of and grew fast.
4. Swiss cheese is not very quick growing but it does grow not very responsive to fertilisers either and dont try and fuck around with the ph i noticed these plants love a ph of 7.0 wish most potting mixes ull buy are already 7.0
5. i bought 10 feminised seeds and ended up with 5 males 5 females thats a bit weird. NIRVANA COMMENT: Not males. Hermaphrodites, probably from stressing them.
6. they say its mostly indica l0l its mostly sativa and this is the best weed iv ever smelt in my life it smells fruity, kinda like pineapple and lemon and a perfumed smell
7. THE BUDS DO NOT TASTE/SMELL LIKE CHEESE! while in veg the plants do smell like cheese excatly like cheese and when u rub ur finger on the stem smells so nice a nice lemony smell but while flowering the stems smell super loemony, buds smell fruity like pineapple and lemon and a kinda perfumed smell i love it!!!
8. i always thought weed smelt the same until i grew this probably the best weed ever and my friends couldent believe how good the smell/taste/high was.
9. in the pic those two buds look like shit but when you actually harvest/dry/cure the buds they rock!!!!!!
10. swisss cheese is also cloneable but takes like 3 weeks to sprout roots even with rooting hormone.
11. althougth swiss cheese grew slow in veg dont wory about that!!! in flower it grows rapidly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in 2 weeks i had buds bigger than cherrys and branches completly covered in beutiful sweet sweet buds in 2 weeks flowering ull see not to dense very hairy buds but in week 3 they start to grow into popcorn buds and very very dense
12. i dont think ill try this strain again and i definetly think its not recomended for beginers because of its unstable-genetics and also this plant does not does not do well at all for example if you were to dig a hole in the ground pour potting mix into the hole than plant it the plant barley grows this plant only grows well in non compacted soil and has to be grown in pots
13. and also it is very very very insect resistant at seedling stage it isnt pest resistant but when it gets about 1 foot big it is very pest resistant i still have 1 huge plant that will flower in fall and i havent had to use any pest sprays insect sprays at all!!!! used neem oil once but that was only once gotta hate the smell of neem oil gawd stinks worser than shit!
14. POSTED monday, 15 febuary 2010 im from australia!!!!!! (Posted on 2/15/10) -

2nd grow using this strain A1 Review by Mattyblade1
I have just finished my 2nd grow of this strain and again was not disappointed. The bud has a wonderful bag appeal an is very heat resistant.
The high knocks you off your feet.
I grew from clone's and got 4oz plus off 2 plants alone. Really high yeilds.
This is a must grow for beginners and advanced alike
Do it!!!! (Posted on 2/4/10) -
more like swiss miss Review by DaNkBuDz
Very very unhappy about this strain. Got 5 fem seeds grew them out and some how ended up with 4 males!!..I don't know if it was bad genetice, not stabalized, or maybe just mis-packaged (got 5 white castle to and 5 ryder, castle auto'd ryder dint!!) But I was not happy. I got 1 female outta 5 fem seeds, thou she is almost 4 feet indoors and has 3 weeks left on budding, she is a beauty. Have not contacted nirvana as of yet cuz they don't have a mobile site so I need use of a desktop cpu but they seem like good ppl. We ordered 25 fem seeds and they cut us a discount so that's cool, but this still sours the whole thing. Ice is great, outdoor mix is..interesting..in a good way thou, w.castle was so-so, swiss was a miss, ryder smells like a berry smoothie and wicked dense and sticky, oh and all 25 seeds cracked, was very impressed by that 100% germ rate even the "midget" seeds (Posted on 2/4/10)
