Genetics: Explaining the genetic makeup of the Moroccan Beldia is complicated. It’s believed to be a hybrid cross between middle eastern strains and South European hemp variants. This does explain why she produces relatively higher levels of CBD. The crossing occurred several hundred years ago by natural selection. Therefore, one can say that the Moroccan Beldia is a true landrace strain.
