Bitcoin handleiding: Web Wallet
A web wallet is usually a browser-based wallet . In some cases you can download a applications to manage your wallet without a browser. These web wallet providers usually offer means to buy bitcoins. For ease of use we recommend Coinbase because you can use your credit card to purchase bitcoins.

1.1 Download Coinbase
Search for “Coinbase” in the App Store, Google Play or your mobile’s app market and install this application.
1.2 Create an account
Open the newly downloaded Coinbase application and create a account to your bitcoin. Tap on “Sign Up” to start the account creation process.
1.3 Account verification
To verify your identity you will need your phone number and either an ID card, Driver's License or Passport. Simply tap on “Buy” to start the verification process.
This will allow Coinbase to verify if your wallet account is legitimate yours. This can be tedious, but once you get past this, it’s going to be smooth sailing. Using bitcoin for transaction will be super easy and convenient!
Note: While verifying your ID, please take the pictures with plenty of room around your card. The Coinbase application automatically crops the pictures which can cut off some parts of your ID and that can cause problems during this process.
2Buying Bitcoins to Wallet
2.1 Choose your payment method
Select the payment method for bitcoins that you prefer. Follow the Coinbase instructions and you will be able to buy bitcoins in no time.
2.2 Buying Bitcoins
To buy bitcoins, simply tap on “Buy” bitcoins in the menu on the left. It will open a window where you can select the wallet you want to use to buy bitcoins. It will calculate everything for you.
If you are using credit card to buy, do note that Coinbase charge a small fee.
3Checkout with Web Wallet
3.1 Check out with Bitcoins
To check out at Nirvana Shop with Bitcoins you have to select the “Pay Anonymously with Bitcoin” option at checkout and continue with your checkout from there.
3.2 Confirm your Bitcoin payment
After placing your order, you will be redirected to a bitcoin payment page. Click on “I confirm my order” when you are ready to proceed.
By confirming your order the bitcoin exchange rate will be frozen for your current order for 15 minutes - which is usually more than enough to finish your payment.
3.3 Wallet key
You now have approximately 15 minutes to finalize your order.
By confirming your order you will be redirected to a new page. This page contains important information like the bitcoin address of your Nirvana Shop order and the amount of BTC (bitcoins) you have to pay.
Tap on the “orange button” to pay with your Bitcoin Wallet. If for some reason the button is not working properly, you can copy the Bitcoin Address and paste it in Coinbase. Do the same with amount of bitcoin you have to pay.
3.4 Finalizing your order in Coinbase
Tap on the “paper plane” icon in your BTC Wallet to send bitcoins. Fill in the right amount of bitcoins and paste the bitcoin address into the recipient bar and the amount of BTC in the amount bar. If the orange button in the previous step worked properly, this should happen automatically.
Tap on “Send Funds” when you are ready, this will prompt a new window for you to double check if everything is correct. Tap on “Confirm” when you are ready. The status of your order should be set on pending now . You can find the status in your dashboard. When we receive your bitcoin payment, The status should be set to Sent.
3.5 Transaction processed!
After you have paid your order, it can take some time before we receive the confirmation from our bitcoin provider. It usually only takes a couple of minutes. In rare cases, this process can take up to a couple of days when our provider is overloaded.
If it takes more than a day and your order is still not set to paid, you should contact us at Nirvana Support. But we can assure you our ninja’s are working as hard as they can to make sure your order will be processed as fast and stealthy as possible!
Placing an order at weekends might take longer, it could take up to Monday afternoon. Please wait until Monday afternoon before contacting support. In some situations we have to manually process the transactions, such as:
- Taking more than 15 minutes to finalize the order.
- When the transaction was made with mBTC or BITS instead of BTC.
