5 Alive feminized is a tropical cocktail of exotic genetics created from Bubble Gum, Orange Juice and Grape Pie. Growing

5 Alive feminized will grow to a medium height, despite her sativa dominance, and is much easier to maintain and control than other sativa. She reacts very well to training methods which will allow her to become a bushy plant with plenty of space between internodes. 5 Alive feminized is best suited for growers with some previous experience, however she stays around 1 meter tall, so is also a great starting point for anyone who wishes to grow a sativa dominant cultivar.

Indoor
Indoors, 5Alive feminized will express a sativa dominance and produce long fingered, serrated leaves and grow to a medium height. She is an easy to grow plant which has lots of space between the internodes and branches, allowing plenty of light to penetrate the lower canopy.

Once flowered, she will double in height, finishing around 100 cm tall, which is relatively short for a sativa dominant cultivar. 5 Alive feminized can take a large amount of nutrients and higher than normal E.C, and combined with plant training, will produce a good-sized yield of top shelf medicine.

Outdoor
5 Alive feminized will show her tropical side when growing outdoors, where she will grow with a bushy, and wide structure that is easy to train and add support late early into the flowering stage. She will not grow too tall and is the perfect balance of indica to sativa, making her ideal for any grower limited to height, or needs a low profile cultivar for their private garden.

As always, we advise planting the 5 Alive feminized seedlings into pots that are 50–100 liters / 13–26 gallons. It is also important to keep the plants in a South facing location.

Fungal resistance

Thanks to her sativa lineage, 5 Alive feminized plants are durable and can fight off mold, making her a wise choice for growers who experience colder climates. This strain can also endure high temperatures and will be resistant to harsh and dry conditions. 

Flowering time

Indoor
Expect 5Alive feminized to produce multiple phenotypes that can take between 60 days up to 70 days. We recommend using a microscope to check the maturity of the trichomes if you are not fully sure when to harvest.

Outdoor
The harvest window outdoors of 5Alive feminized will be around the middle of November, depending on the climate. We advise planting the seeds in Spring time and to use large sized pots for the best results.

Yield

Indoor
5Alive feminized is a good yielding cultivar that is able to produce up to 500 g/m² / 0.102 lbs per square foot. For a medium-sized plant, she is a great performer and produces long, pointy buds.

Outdoor
When grown outdoors, this strain can yield up to 750 grams / 1.65 lbs per plant, and likes to keep a low profile for a sativa. For the biggest yields possible, we advise plant training early on to allow the structure to become as bushy as possible.

Plant height & structure

Indoors, the final height of 5Alive feminized plants will be around 100 cm /  39 inches, making her a short size for a sativa. When grown outdoors in a hot climate, plants are capable of reaching a height of 160 cm / 63 inches.

Training

We advise pinching out the plants after the 3rd week of 18/6 and using low stress techniques to open up the plants and reduce the final height even further.
