With the number of varieties of feminized and autoflowering cannabis seeds, knowing which Nirvana Seeds strain is the best one for you is not always straightforward. Your choice should be based on several factors, so below we cover as many points for you to consider helping you make your perfect choice and grow some cup-winning buds!

Beginner Level Cannabis Seeds

With more eyes now fixed on the Cannabis industry than ever before, a new wave of beginner growers has emerged. As a beginner grower, it can be a little overwhelming understanding the difference between indica, sativa, and hybrid Cannabis plants, as well as flowering times, growth structure, and applying plant training.

If you are a beginner grower and are about to make your first investment in Cannabis seeds, then we recommend working with a strain known for being easy to grow and maintain. We advise strains such as Hindu Kush, Master Kush, Northern Lights, Skunk #1, White Rhino, and White Widow. These old-school hybrids are fast flowering and highly resistant to mold, and require little maintenance once flowering.

I Only Want Big Yielding Cannabis Seeds

For many experienced growers, getting big yields and a solid return on investment can be the main priority when growing Cannabis. Commercial-scale operations that are number-driven and dependent on profit margins and investors will demand high-yielding Cannabis seeds.

If your goal is to get as many grams of dried flower as possible, or you only plan to make hash or extracts with the crop, then we recommend Big Bud, Green Crack, Blue Dream, Original Glue. Chem Dog, Super Skunk, and Critical as these are all big procedures that are capable of harvesting 500-800g/m2.

Who doesn't like a good big old yield? Use the following code: MBD9WG21 and get a free pack of Super Skunk feminized!

Autoflowering Cannabis Plants

Autos have changed the way that Cannabis plants can be grown indoor and outdoor, as they are not dependent on a 12/12 lighting schedule, and can be ready to harvest from seed within 70-90 days. This means growers who live in a hot climate such as California or Southern Spain can enjoy perpetual harvests all year long when growing autoflowering Cannabis seeds.

Autos are great for growing in a sea of green outdoors and can be easily disguised due to their short to medium height once matured. We recommend Amnesia Haze Auto, Blue Cheese Auto, Gelato Auto, Girl Scout Cookies auto, and Zkittles Auto from our choice of 17 autoflowering Cannabis seeds. However, we feel our autos are all as great as each other in their own way and suggest try them all!

Sativa Lovers

There is nothing quite like the electric soaring effect of a proper sativa, that can keep you high for hours. Sativa Cannabis plants are known for their size and how fast they can grow, as well as their long flowering time of 10-12 weeks, unique terpene profiles and heavy yields.

For the purveyors of the best sativa Cannabis seeds, we advise Super Silver Haze, Somango XXL and Amnesia Haze. These 3 Cannabis plants will all have a distinct citrus, fruity, and old school flavor and can easily grow as tall as 175-200cm once mature, so are best suited for growers with experience and have plenty of indoor and outdoor space.

Fast Flowering Strains

Often times it can be impractical to grow out long flowering Cannabis plants that demand more time, light, nutrients, maintenance, and can run the risk of mold and mildew, especially when planting outdoors. It can actually be much easier to work with faster flowering hybrids that are able to finish in a turnaround time of 7-8 weeks, lowering the risk of pathogens and losing flower.

You could also be working with a crop rotation every 56 days, which means once the plants are ready to harvest, there are clones or new Cannabis seedlings that have been grown under 18/6 in advance that can now be immediately flowered. If this is the case, then we recommend Hindu Kush, Master Kush, Northern Lights, Skunk #1, and White Rhino. Or any other indica dominant hybrid that will finish around 100-125cm and are typically highly resistant to cold and wetter climates such a Northern Europe.

I Don’t Want High THC Levels

Not everyone likes to smoke knockout flower that can cause anxiety and discomfort in a social scenario, and for some a nice relaxing mellow effect is much preferable. If this is the case, then we strongly recommend Chem Dog CBD and Girl Scout Cookies CBD.

These Cannabis seeds are much lower in THC and have a high CBD ratio, meaning the effects are entirely different and are ideal for medical patients and smokers with a low tolerance. The beauty of our CBD hybrids is that you can enjoy the wonderful flavors of the cookies and Chem Dog as well as the 1:1 ratios they offer.

Are Regular or Feminized Cannabis Seeds Best?

There is no right or wrong answer here; however, it is down to which is more practical for you. Regular seeds mean you will produce male and female plants that will need to be separated before flowering and can be used for a homemade seed project. Feminized seeds mean the plants will only produce female plants and there will be no need to remove any plants.

Feminized seeds have many advantages for the home grower, ranging from fully utilizing their space, hydroponic systems and not needing to worry about male plants during the growth. There are also many advantages to using regular seeds also, however feminized are much easier for a beginner grower and large-scale commercial facilities.

We hope that these 7 points helped you decide which of our strains is best for you. Every plant is different, and each one has its own unique properties and can be better suited than others, depending on your ambitions. Practice makes perfect, and over time you will find which of our Cannabis seeds is the right one for you!
