Nirvana’s best strains for growing in hot, dry climates

The idea of a hot and dry climate may sound like a dream scenario for a grower; however, life can become quite challenging when planting outside. Faced with harsh, hot and dry days, blistering winds and unpredictable heat waves, it can seem like your grower’s paradise is more like a desert climate than a thriving spring valley.

Working with the best suited genetics will not only give you the advantage during the hot Summer months and cool Winters, it will ensure you do not lose a crop due to heat stress.

Cannabis plants outdoors can experience temperatures well over the 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit). Mountainous regions will be prone to heavy winds that can cause severe wind burn and heat stress,

They say there is no school like the old school, and especially when it comes to durability, resilience to pathogens and disease, and how easy they are to grow! Our team has taken the time to choose the 10 best strains to grow in a hot and dry climate. Making sure, as long as you water them, they will do the rest and produce terpene rich, top shelf flowers oozing with resin.
